A "Time" for Everything

Lately for Henry it is always "time" for something. By this I mean he has taken us saying bedtime, lunch time, and supper time even further. The last week has included outside-time, downstairs-time, upstairs-time and book-time. This list is just the beginning too, there have been many more. My personal favorite: Mommy do it-time.

Here are a few pictures from the last week or so of "times":

Big boy bed time

Bike-time

Fruit snack-time

Basket-time

What to do...

This is the never ending question that always comes up when I put Henry down for a nap. Should I:

1. Take a nap myself...once there are two of them this will never be an option so I should take advantage of it now.

2. Fix my hair...I already did it this morning, but it still looks like I just got up. Oh well, we're not going anywhere so why bother...especially if I decide on option 1.

3. Do some work...note to self, never offer to take work home again.

4. Get something ready for dinner without Henry's "help"

5. Laundry...ironing...yuck

6. Read through a magazine from the stack I'm trying to get rid of

7. Surf blogs/email...this always takes way too much of the time allowed

Everyday the same list, and everyday by the time I decide Henry is up. Oh well, it will all still be there tomorrow!

The Rice Factor

Did you know that rice nearly doubles when you cook it? I did, somewhere in the recesses of my brain. However, Saturday when I cooked some up I forgot. The receipe called for 3 cups cooked. I made 3 cups raw. Any suggestions for about 3 cups of cooked rice?

Chocolate Pudding

As I have said before, Henry doesn't like to smile for the camera. Tonight he was being a ham, so I tried to take a few pictures. All of the sudden Henry said "smile" and he was ready for the taking!

Touchin' "Flies"

Last week we went to the Gardens with my mom, Olivia & Levi to see the butterflies, or the "flies" as Henry refers to them. Henry had a good time, and even got to touch one before I could stop him.
