Few and far between

These came the day of the crying pictures...Henry thought they should have their picture together, so this is where is all started. I should've just left it at that, but when they are happy I try to get a couple extras.

Friday night Scott had both of the kids, so he took them to their first sport show. They loved it.

Henry was especially thrilled to have his brush with fame. He finally got to meet KVD! That's Kevin VanDam, famous pro-bass fisherman for those of you who didn't know - Henry will tell you if you weren't sure too.

One more take...maybe another time

So because Henry is now crying, Meleah cried harder.

Not quite what I had in mind.

9 months old

Meleah turned 9 months today. I can't believe how fast is has gone, Scott thinks it isn't going fast enough. Meleah is crawling at a fast pace and standing up by everything. She even tries to stand without holding anything. She is starting solid foods, yogurt and bananas are a big hit.

Stalling Tactics

Henry has become proficient at stalling, not only for bed time, but in other forms now too. Tonight at dinner Scott told him to eat. It was met with Henry asking a totally unrelated question. Too bad Henry can't keep a straight face though.

Tonight when I was putting Henry to bed we had finished the routine and it was time to be quiet. I laid there next to him for a few minutes and he starts doing nothing short of a gymnastics floor routine in bed. I told him it was time to lay still.

"I'm just stretchin' a few whiles."

Oh, my mistake...stretch on.
