I love my lips!

Whenever I see Henry's newest trick, I can't help but think of the Veggie Tales song "I love my lips!"

Henry is constantly sucking in his bottom lip, and sometimes the top one too. He likes to see how far onto his chin he can get his upper lip. He even does this when he eats. He must think that it helps to clear the food off his chin. I'm not sure where he picked this up, or if he just thinks it is fun. Either way, it always makes us laugh!

What's in a name?

I started this blog, and then realized I needed a title and heading and a 'name' for everything. I think I sat for 20 minutes just staring at the screen waiting for something to come to me.

vacuum b4 dusting...where did it come from? Years ago someone would say "we needed to leave a tip", or "let me give you a tip", my response was always "Here's a tip, vacuum before dusting." I'm sure the only reason that I said it was because I just had to say something. Since this is a topic that is up for debate, it was what I would respond.

The debate - what is the correct order for housecleaning? Dust then vacuum, or vacuum then dust? Option 1: Dust, pushing the dirt to the floor, then vacuum to pick it all up. Option 2: Vacuum, sending dust into the air, then dust to wipe it away. I believe that it is just a vicious cycle causing one to clean continuously, or always feeling as the job is not complete since one always causes the other. I don't have a good answer...so I will continue to do what my mom always did, vacuum then dust, because doesn't mother know best?!

the first, the last and every word in between...this heading just fits me. "I just had to say something" - speechless rarely describes me. I have been know to ramble and babble for no reason, and to anyone that would listen. There are a few people out there that would be shocked to read that...but they just haven't had the opportunity to witness such an event yet. I'm sure it will come before they know it. My favorite example of this was on a weekend home from college. My mom will testify that from the moment I walked in the door I never stopped talking until the door shut behind me when I left (and this included a trip to the grocery store). Now that is impressive!
